Washing Your Hair
Before Washing: Gently detangle your hair using a wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends and working your way up to the roots.
Shampoo: Use a sulfate-free shampoo and lukewarm water. Gently massage the shampoo into your hair in a downward motion. Avoid rubbing or creating friction that can cause tangling.
Frequency: Wash your hair 1-2 times per week, or as needed. Over-washing can strip natural oils and reduce longevity.
Deep Conditioning
Application: Apply a generous amount of moisturizing conditioner from mid-length to the ends. Avoid the roots to prevent product buildup.
Treatment Time: Leave the conditioner on for 5-10 minutes. For extra moisture, use a deep conditioning treatment once a week.
Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with cool water to seal the cuticles and add shine. Make sure no product residue remains.
Drying & Styling
Towel Drying: Gently pat the hair dry with a microfiber towel or t-shirt. Never rub vigorously as this can cause tangling and breakage.
Air Drying: Whenever possible, allow your hair to air dry naturally. This is the gentlest method and helps preserve the hair quality.
Heat Styling: If using heat tools, always apply a heat protectant spray first. Keep temperatures below 350°F (175°C) and avoid excessive heat.
Storage & Maintenance
Storage: When not in use, store your hair in a cool, dry place. Use a silk or satin bag to prevent tangling and maintain moisture.
Detangling: Brush gently with a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush. Start from the ends and work your way up to avoid breakage.
